The hotel was an excellent home base for enjoying a central area, very close to the central plaza as well as the center of Ollantaytambo. We stayed in a reasonably large room, which had a view of city. The good and magnificent location was quite close to Slipstream Sculpture...

The hostel is conveniently located right next to the temple of the Sun and just opposite the main ruins. It is also close to everything in town, yet away from the noise. the room is clean and comfortable, and the bathroom is well-maintained. the service provided by the friendly staff is excellent. They serve a delicious breakfast and even offer hot water for your thermos. there is a good view of the mountain from the rooms.

Some rooms may have a bit of street noise, which can disturb sleep.

We had a pleasant stay at a cute little hostel in a convenient location. The staff were kind and accommodating, allowing us to rest in the lobby when my wife wasn't feeling well and providing an early breakfast for our trip to Machu Picchu. The hot water in the shower was consistent and we enjoyed a nice view of the mountain from our room.

The beds were not very comfortable and the hot water was unreliable, with only one out of five of us able to shower with hot water. There were also issues with the power outage, as we were without electricity for two hours while other nearby accommodations had it restored much sooner.

The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. The price for the quality of the room was jaw-dropping. The facilities were top-notch, with a hot shower, super fast internet, and a lovely courtyard. They even prepared a take-away breakfast for my early morning Machu Picchu trip! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great location near the temple of the Sun, walking distance from the train station. Lovely family-run establishment, with a super nice host who only speaks Spanish. Breakfast was included, and they even provided a take-away option for early departures. Room size was perfect with an ensuite bathroom.

I recently stayed at Hostal Apu Qhawarina for 3 nights during my visit to Ollantaytambo. The rooms were exactly as pictured, no surprises there. The staff, especially Alexander, were extremely helpful and made me feel welcome. The location is great, just a short 5-minute walk from the main square and conveniently close to everything. The hotel graciously allowed me to leave my bags with them 24 hours before my check-in while I went to Machu Picchu. The room was cute, clean, and spacious, and the bathroom was also clean. I had a very pleasant stay here and I am very happy with my experience.

The spacious room with a private bathroom and shower was incredibly comfortable, and the location near the ruins was perfect. Despite the lack of heating, the host provided plenty of blankets to keep me warm. The hosts were also very accommodating, allowing us to do our laundry and store our bags while we visited Machu Picchu. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

For the price we paid, we got great value with a comfortable room and a hot shower. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main square and right next to the historic site. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even preparing a take away breakfast for us at 5.00 a.m. for our Machu Picchu trip. I would definitely stay there again!
